The Society of Young Augustinians(SYA) was founded by Fr. Noel Conopio when he was the parish priest way back in 1998 when i was in high school in Liceo de Bay in Bay, Laguna. At first, I was anxious to join the group because back then i was really a shy person, i was invited
by a friend to join a Youth Encounter(YE) seminar and the rest is history, joining the group changed my view of life, i did a lot of things that i never thought i could do, and of course meet these wonderful people that eventually became my circle of friends up to this day...
It has been years since those fruitful days, but its still fresh on my memories, those out of town Youth Encounters seminars, those skits and plays, the adventurous trips, foodtrips, music trip with a guitar, and of course, those laughter and tears. I will not forget those days, but i definitely damn missed it...
This is by far the most memorable experience i've ever had, this definitely changed me in more ways than i could have ever imagine, and yes, there is nothing in this world that will compare to this experience by serving God.
